Experience the stunning beauty of the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve in Sweden while driving your very own dog sled. In a small group of no more than four guests, you’ll ride along snowy trails and frozen landscapes with a team of well-trained Alaskan Huskies.
During your adventure, you’ll stay in our off-grid Wilderness Cabins. These rustic accommodations have no running water or electricity, offering a truly immersive escape into nature. The trip is a shared effort—guests work together to care for the dogs, fetch water, cook meals, and keep the cabin warm with a crackling fire.

Husky Safari
Have you always dreamed of travelling through the winter wilderness with a team of huskies? If so, our Husky Safari is the perfect introduction to mushing. Over the course of five days, you will learn how to harness, care for and drive your own team of Alaskan huskies, gradually getting to know their unique dog personalities in the process.
Together, we will explore the snowy landscapes of Kirjesålandet in the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve, spending several hours on the sled each day. In the evenings, we leave the trail behind and settle into our wilderness cabins, where we cook, look after the dogs, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Arctic wilderness. With a maximum of four guests, the experience remains personal and hands-on throughout.
Next Level Adventure
Are you ready to learn more advanced skills? The Next Level Adventure Tour is designed for those who already have some experience of dog sledding or who simply want to challenge themselves further. The journey continues for four days on the sled, with our destination being the heart of the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve and the mountains, where we will ascend to an altitude of approximately 1,000 metres.
With three nights spent in rustic wilderness cabins, this tour offers more time on the trail and a taste of expedition life, without requiring you to commit to a full week in the mountains. It’s a chance to explore more remote landscapes, bond with your team of huskies, and experience the freedom of travelling through the Swedish winter wilderness.
Wilderness Expedition
If you’re looking for a true wilderness adventure, our Husky Expeditions will take you far beyond the usual trails. Spanning seven days, you will travel by sled through the mountains, forests and frozen lakes of the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve, covering around 250 km with your own team of huskies.
This is an authentic expedition: you will help to care for your dogs, set up camp, and play an active role in the daily life of the group. Depending on the route and conditions, you will spend the nights in simple wilderness cabins or winter tents, often alongside the dogs. This adventure is designed for experienced outdoor enthusiasts in good physical condition, as everyone contributes to moving the team through challenging terrain and deep snow.
