That was Metsjövidda Challenge 2026

Once again, the Metsjövidda Challenge by Petter Karlsson Sleddogs was a resounding success! Eight teams took part in this year’s test event, which was held under race-like conditions, preparing for the upcoming racing season on the 320 km route through the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve.

The organizers were supported by a large team of helpers and a vet crew, as well as our long-standing sponsors Axaeco, Nextmune, and Royal Canin.
