Husky Safari
If you’ve always dreamed of travelling through the winter wilderness with a team of huskies, our Husky Safari is the perfect introduction to mushing. Over five days, you’ll learn how to harness, care for and drive your own team of Alaskan Huskies while gradually getting to know their individual personalities.
Together, we explore the snowy landscapes of Kirjesålandet in the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve, spending several hours on the sled each day. In the evenings, we leave the trail behind and settle into our wilderness cabins, where we cook, look after the dogs and enjoy the quiet of the Arctic wilderness. With a maximum of four guests, the experience remains personal and hands-on throughout.
Next Level Adventure
Ready to go beyond the basics? The NEXT LEVEL ADVENTURE TOUR is designed for those who already have some experience with dog sledding or simply want to challenge themselves a little further. Over four days on the sled, we head deeper into the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve and up into the mountains, reaching elevations of around 1,000 metres.
With three nights in rustic wilderness cabins, this tour gives you more time on the trail and a taste of expedition life—without committing to a full week in the mountains. It’s an opportunity to discover more remote landscapes, work closely with your husky team and experience the freedom of travelling through the Swedish winter wilderness.
Wilderness Expedition
For those looking for a true wilderness adventure, our Husky Expeditions take you far beyond the usual trails. Over seven days on the sled, you’ll travel through the mountains, forests and frozen lakes of the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve, covering around 250 km with your own team of huskies.
This is an expedition in every sense of the word: you’ll help care for your dogs, set up camp and take an active part in the daily life of the group. Depending on the route and conditions, nights are spent in simple wilderness cabins or winter tents, often right alongside the dogs. The experience is designed for guests with outdoor experience and requires above-average fitness, as everyone contributes to moving the team through challenging terrain and deep snow.
