Birgit K29 April 2026Verified Better than the best dream! After dreaming about husky sledging since so many years my dream came true in the 3-day husky safari- and it was even much better than I could have imagined!! 3 days in the wilderness, with fantastic and so friendly and dedicated dogs, our awesome and experienced guide Hannah, and a fun group! Sleeping in rustic huts, cooking over the fire, a wood-fired sauna. Through forests, over frozen lakes, up and down the mountains. The trip was perfectly organismer from beginning to end. To Hannah: I’ll remember this adventure forever, and hope your dream of an own kennel some day comes true! Michael D29 April 2026Verified Top top organized 3 day tour; stressing but relaxing at the same time Andreas B27 April 2026Verified ein unvergleichliches Erlebnis ... GJB070715 April 2026Verified An experience of a life time An unforgettable experience, one I would recommend to anyone that loves the great outdoors….and dogs! inge9 April 2026Verified Geweldige beleving als gezin Met ons gezin van 4 beleefden we een fantastische 3 dagen in de zweedse sneeuw. Absolutely an amazing experience with Peter Karlsson's team on a 5-day Husky Safari. Everything was amazing from the first day until the last. The guest manager, Anna, gave us a warm welcome and made sure we always felt comfortable and had everything we needed. In the guest house (on the first and last day), you can notice how everything is organized in detail, how everything was super clean, and how the dinners were amazing, thanks to her. Hannah, our guide, was amazing as well. She taught us everything we had to know about the dogs and their safety. She always took care of us and made sure our trip was safe and well-organized. A big thanks to the entire team for letting us be a part of their world for a few days. I would definitely repeat this experience, as it was one of the best adventures I've ever had. timsgal9827 March 2026Verified Pure Joy! Pure Magic! The 9day excursion gave me the challenges I desperately needed to fill my heart and soul. My cup is overflowing. Where to begin. The scenery is jaw dropping gorgeous but you can get that anywhere. What takes this trip to a whole new level is, my guide Roger. He is exceptionally passionate and so knowledgeable about the dogs and his surroundings. He is very kind hearted, has the best sense of humor. I witnessed a depth like no other he has for the dogs and making sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves. Our group (people and dogs) was pretty special. We endured almost every kind of weather and that just bonded us more deeply. Behind the scenes is Anna, equally as valuable to our comfort and enjoyment as she is largely responsible for organizing all the tours, the guides, food preparation, logistics and clothing, etc. Thank You Anna! And Isa, who brilliantly and meticulously cares for the dogs everyday. She made sure I had the Best dogs for me. I can only imagine what the dogs are saying to each other about their handlers and our group. I also heard a lot about Angela and how much she does to make this a thriving business and it shows. I would without hesitation recommend this tour to anyone wanting an exceptional dogsledding experience. I even got to meet Amanda their daughter who greeted our group with such enthusiasm and she even helped us as we packed for our adventure. This was by far the most magical and therapeutic journey I’ve had in my 60 years of living. I am so thankful to all of you. Tack Sharon T21 March 2026Verified This really was a fantastic experience. The dogs, guide, scenery, northern lights… trip of a lifetime! Wonderful experience, great dogs, guide and scenery. Highly recommended BeePalma2 March 2026Verified Arctic Dream Come True – 5 Days of Pure Magic in Swedish Lapland We joined the Petra Karlsson Dog Sledding 5-Day Safari in mid-February in Sweden, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the very beginning, the planning was outstanding. Anna did a fantastic job organizing everything and was always there to support us with advice and answers before and during the trip. You immediately feel that you are in professional and caring hands. Our guide Roger led us expertly through the breathtaking, snow-covered landscapes of Swedish Lapland. We were also lucky to have Isa, a dog handler at Petra Karlsson, joining us — so we had two true professionals with us. What a privilege! Their knowledge, calmness, and passion made the whole dogsledding adventure even more special — and so much fun. The dogs were in excellent condition, full of energy, and clearly well cared for. You can really see that their wellbeing is a top priority for the organizers. And they were genuinely happy to run — it was beautiful to witness. Yes, it was very cold (between -20 and -32°C), but thanks to the high-quality winter equipment provided, I was maybe occasionally a little chilly for a moment, but never truly cold. Instead, we were rewarded with stunning winter sunshine and — incredibly — spectacular Northern Lights every single night. What luck!!! This Arctic dogsledding safari in Sweden was an unforgettable experience, and honestly, it surpassed everything I had hoped for. Maybe — hopefully (!) — we’ll be back next year. Shashers22 February 2026Verified Absolutely Unforgettable Arctic Adventure If you're looking for a true adventure vacation, I can’t recommend Petter Karlssons Dogledding Tours enough! As a solo woman traveler, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this experience exceeded everything I imagined! From the very beginning, when Anna picked me and the other three adventurer’s up at the bus stop to take us back to the guesthouse, I felt welcomed and completely supported! Before coming, I read through all the reviews so like the people before me, I want to share what’s it’s really like. But also if you’re hesitant or unsure just know, you can do this! This is not a passive sightseeing tour. It’s a real, hands-on adventure. It was physically challenging at times, but that’s exactly what made it so rewarding. Guiding your own team of dogs and pushing through the tougher stretches leaves you feeling fatigued but also exhilarated. And the winter wonderland landscape you sled through is almost surreal it’s so stunningly beautiful! One of the most unexpected highlights was the camaraderie. There’s something powerful about sharing this kind of challenge with strangers who quickly become friends. We encouraged each other, laughed through the hard parts, and celebrated the victories together. By the end, it truly felt like we had been through something meaningful as a team. And the dogs! They are the sweetest, most hardworking dogs you’ll ever meet. But holy mama do they want to run! Be prepared to hang on! Know also they come first, so at the end of the day, when all you want to do is crash, you have to make sure they’re fed and cared for first. I need to give a whole hearted shoutout to our fearless guide Elias, who was outstanding throughout the entire trip. He was supportive, knowledgeable, and calm — always there to guide us — but he never did things for us. Well I mean, he actually did a lot of course, but he also empowered and encouraged us to learn, and try to figure things out ourselves. His leadership struck the perfect balance between encouragement and independence. If you’re considering a challenging adventure that pushes you, connects you with incredible animals, and leaves you with new friendships and lasting memories, this is it. I would wholeheartedly recommend it! Absolutely unforgettable.Tripadvisor rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 79 reviews
