Be outside with your team in the wonderful nature of Lapland! You will get all the basics you need to drive your own 4 dog team for 2 days through stunning winter landscape. The evening before leaving you meet the dogs and learn how to treat them well and how to hook them up infront of a sled. You will then spend the night in a warm cottage. Next morning we start early with the feeding of the dogs. After breakfast together, we will pack the sleds and hook up the dogs. Petter will lead this tour with a team of 8-12 dogs carrying most of the food and equipment in his sled. Already after a few kilometers you will understand the magic of moving through this charming countryside in this way. At lunchtime we will stop at a nice place to enjoy our meal. Of course the dogs will get a little snack too.
We will move on through winter forests and over frozen lakes untill we reach our wilderness cabin. While you take care of your dog team, we will chop some firewood to heat the cottage. Together we will cook our dinner and by candlelight we will look back on the day and talk about dog sledding and the life in Lapland. After a cosy night we will feed the dogs and get ready for our journey back. Again we will have lunch together. After arriving at the kennel you will take care of your team once again before it is time to say goodbye to your partners. It will be a tour you will remember for a long time.
