DOGSLEDING SHOOL
Speed is relative. However - Petter’s dogs are among the fastest in Europe. Definitely. Become a professional musher under the guidance of Petter Karlsson, the multiple winner of the Swedish Championship and the European Champion. If you always wanted to know how to turn a good team into a winning team, then you can learn about that in the Dog Sledding School.
Within a week you will learn a lot about dog sledding and training your own team of 4-6 Alaskan Huskies. Each dog will be picked out by you with the help of Petter, and during this week you will be responsible for your dog partners. You will learn how to treat them well, how to feed them, how to train optimally and all the other things you need to know to run a perfect race. Together with Petter and his racing team of 12-18 dogs you will train every day and he will show you how to become one with your team.
By the end of the week you will have the chance to try to mush Petter’s champion team. This will be an unbelievable experience. We will provide food and lodging during the 8 days.

One week dogsleding school, meals and lodging
Price: 1200 SEK/person

Kittelfjäll is a ski-resort well known for off-pist skiing as well as for its amazing nature. Every year people from all over the world visit Kittelfjäll to spend their holiday here. It is the right place for those who like to stay comfortable on one hand but love to be active outdoors on the other. Several times in the winter we load our truck with all the necessary equipment and bring our dogs to Kittelfjäll to offer two different sled dog tours.
COFFEE TOUR For this dog sledding tour we take off from the hotel in Kittelfjäll. You will be sitting on the guide sled which can take up to 4 persons and is comfortably padded with reindeer skins. From the sled you can see the majestic mountains and feel the strength from the hard-pulling dogs.
We follow the river Vojmån and after approximately 6 km we make a stop and enjoy a cup of coffee, or hot chocolate, together with thin-bread rolls filled with regional specialities like smoked reindeer meat or Västerbotten cheese.
Price: 1000 SEK/person – Child under 12 years: 500 SEK
SHORT TOUR In the valley, near by the river Vojmån we offer a 10-15 minutes tour with a sled dog team, sitting on the guide sled which can take up to 4 persons. We depart from the hotel in Kittelfjäll.
Price: 200 SEK/person – Child under 12 years: 100 SEK
