Checkpoint Slussfors
Today we did a two times 40 km training run with a two hours stop in between at our own “checkpoint” here in Slussfors.The leaddogs Storm and Mia are waiting for their food.
More snow
Yesterday and today it has been snowing a lot. We have 30-40 cm of snow now. Malin is prepairing the B-team for a training run. Elvis and Tyri will run in lead.
Training with the sled
Since the 5th of November we have been training with the sled. Today we had perfect weather, -18 C and sunshine.The team is in good shape and they enjoyed the 46km run.
Malin Strid is working as our handler this sesason.At the moment we have 35 dogs in training.Petter trains the A-team and Malin the B-team.Malin worked for us in 2007-2008.She is a great girl, hard working with a great interest for dogs and beeing outdoors.
8 Puppies
We have eight puppies after Elim and Trillobitten.Two males and six females. They are really cute and friendly.
2nd HANDLER WANTED!
For the comming season we are looking for a second handler. So if you are a motivated person and interested in the work with sleddogs for several weeks please contact us by phone or e-mail for more information.
